Nixon tapes appearance on Comcast Newsmakers at Truman Library
June 16, 2006 Attorney General Jay Nixon prepares to be interviewed by host Mike Shanin for a Comcast Newsmakers segment that was taped June 16th at the Harry S. Truman Presidential Library in Independence. The interview was taped in the library's Oval Office replica. Comcast Newsmakers is a four and a half minute interview segment that airs at 55 minutes after the hour daily on CNN Headline News. The segments, which reach over 100,000 Comcast customers in Missouri and Kansas, feature elected officials, community leaders and citizens making news in Missouri and Kansas. Attorney General Nixon's segments are scheduled to air from July 15 through August 14.
