Legal secretary who has worked under five Attorneys General marks 40 years with office
March 30, 2007 Mary Ann Wippermann, a legal secretary who began working at the Attorney General's Office in 1967, marked 40 years at the office with a celebration ceremony on March 30. Besides current Attorney General Jay Nixon, Mary Ann has served under former Attorneys General Norman Anderson, John Danforth, John Ashcroft and Bill Webster. She also worked with U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas when he served as an assistant attorney general in Missouri.
"Mary Ann's dedication has been nothing short of remarkable," Nixon said. "She has provided valuable help to generations of attorneys in this office, and they have learned from her years of experience. I congratulate her on this incredible milestone."
