Attorney General Nixon hosts 300 local government officials at 11th Ethics in Government conference
July 10, 2008 Jackson County legislator Theresa A. Garza Ruiz (at left) takes the opportunity to speak with Jane Rackers of the Attorney General's Office at the Ethics in Government conference on July 10. Rackers, chief counsel for the Governmental Affairs Division, was one of the presenters at the free daylong conference, which attracted more than 300 local elected and appointed officials. The conference was the 11th sponsored by Attorney General Jay Nixon, and covered a wide range of ethics topics from hiring and the Sunshine Law to nepotism and sexual harassment.
